Idaho title, and repossession requirements:

Title State: License and Registration information refer to: Idaho Department of Motor Vehicles, P.O. Box 34, Boise, Idaho 83731. Tel.: (208) 334-8663. Fee for search of records: $2.00.

Recording: With County Recorder of Deeds or Secretary of State. Uniform Commercial Code adopted January, 1968.

Recovery: Peaceful repossession permitted.

Redemption: No provisions.

Deficiency: In chattel mortgages, only after foreclosure proceedings as provided for by state law. On conditional sales if contract so provides. Confession of judgment clauses valid only on money due or about to become due.

Special Motor Vehicle Provisions: Lien must appear on title.

Documents Required to Transfer Ownership of Motor Vehicle: Certificate of Title in lien holders name, affidavit of repossession with Bill of Sale completed by lien holder.

PLATES: License plates remain with owner on passenger vehicles. All others, plates remain with vehicle.
